White-label map designer for laser & engraving shops

Customer designs.
You cut.

Put a live wooden-map designer on your own store. Your customer picks the city, frame and size, sees the exact map and live price — and every order lands in your inbox as a production-ready, layered SVG. Open it in LightBurn or xTool. Start cutting.

One line of code. Your branding. Your prices. No coding skills needed.

Why Maperivo exists

Custom maps sell. The back-and-forth doesn't.

We make wooden maps for a living. This is the difference between our week before and after we built this tool for ourselves.

Without Maperivo

Every order is a project

  1. Customer writes: "Chicago, somewhere near the pier?"
  2. You make a mockup in an editor. 30–60 minutes.
  3. Email it. Wait a day. "Can we move it a bit left?"
  4. Two more revisions. Some never buy at all.
  5. Finally trace the map into cut files by hand.
With Maperivo

Every order is a file

  1. Customer opens the designer on your site.
  2. Picks city, style, frame, size — sees the real map live.
  3. Price updates instantly from your own store.
  4. Adds to cart. You get the order + design code.
  5. One click → layered SVG → LightBurn → cut.

How it works

No plugins to develop, no developer to hire. If you can paste one line into your store, you're done.

1

Paste one line

Add our snippet to any page of your store — Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or your own site. On Etsy? You get a hosted designer link instead.

<script src="cdn.maperivo.com/v1.js" data-key="MS-XXXX"></script>
2

Customers design & buy

Your logo, your colors, your styles, your prices — synced live from your store. Any city or address on Earth. A built-in tutorial walks first-timers through it.

3

Download & cut

Each order carries a design code. One click turns it into a layered SVG — CUT, ENGRAVE and WATER layers, named and colored — that opens in LightBurn, xTool Studio or Glowforge with zero cleanup.

Built by a map maker, for map makers

Everything the big customizers don't do

Generic product customizers can put text on a mug. None of them can trace a city into something a laser can cut. That's all we do.

🏷️

Fully white-label

Your logo, name, accent colors and domain. Your customers never see us — the "Powered by" badge is optional and off on Business plans.

💶

Prices synced with your store

The designer reads your live product prices. Change a price in Shopify — the designer shows it instantly. Your store is always the source of truth at checkout.

🗺️

Any city on Earth

Search any address worldwide. Streets, parks, rivers, coastlines — real map data, rendered live, with a pin exactly where their story happened.

📐

Production-grade geometry

Closed water shapes, bridge tabs so islands don't fall out, road-width control. The file that comes out is the file you cut — tested on 8,000+ real orders.

🧩

Your product range

Multiple map styles, frame finishes with photos, sizes, hearts for couples, engraving text fields, key holders — you enable what you sell, hide what you don't.

🧭

Guided for first-timers

A built-in wizard asks who the gift is for and pre-configures the map, so customers who've never seen a map product still reach checkout.

🌍

Multi-language

English, German and Polish out of the box, following your store's language. More languages on request.

🛒

Straight into your cart

On Shopify the order lands in your native cart with the design code attached. Other platforms get a clean webhook. Nothing changes about how you fulfill.

🔁

Etsy & internal mode

No script access on Etsy? Use your hosted designer link — or design the map yourself from the customer's notes and export. Same license, both modes.

Read the fine print — ours is short

1 export = 1 complete map

Some tools count every layer of your file as a separate export. Streets? One credit. Water cutout? Another. Green areas? A third. Your "50 exports" quietly become ~15 maps.

Per-layer counting (them)

50 exports ≈ 15 maps

Each layer bills separately. A three-layer map burns three credits. You do the math at the end of the month.

Per-map counting (us)

25 exports = 25 maps

One export is one finished, layered, production-ready file — all layers included, every plan, always.

Laser stopped mid-job? Re-downloading the same design within 7 days is free — it's the same file, so we don't count it twice.

Simple pricing

Pays for itself with the first order

Every plan includes the full designer and the production exporter. Plans differ by limits — never by access to your files.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which platforms does it work on?

Anywhere you can paste one line of HTML: Shopify (Custom liquid section), WooCommerce / WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, PrestaShop, BigCommerce and any self-hosted site. Selling on Etsy? Scripts aren't allowed there, so you get a hosted designer page under your own name — link it in your listing, or use it yourself as an internal design tool.

What file format do I get? Will it work with my machine?

A layered SVG with named CUT, ENGRAVE and WATER layers, separated by color. It opens directly in LightBurn, xTool Creative Space/Studio and Glowforge with no cleanup — this exact pipeline has produced 8,000+ physical maps. DXF export is available on request for older controllers and CNC workflows.

Do I need any coding skills?

No. You paste one snippet where you want the designer to appear. During the founding beta we personally set up your branding, styles and prices with you on a short onboarding call — it takes about 15 minutes.

How does pricing inside the designer stay correct?

On Shopify the designer reads your live product prices at load time, so there's nothing to maintain — change a price in your admin and the designer follows. At checkout your store is always the source of truth. On other platforms you set prices in your Maperivo config, and the order webhook carries them through.

What exactly counts as one export?

One complete map — all layers, one file, one credit. Re-exporting the same design within 7 days is free. We never count layers separately.

Can my customers mess up the design and blame me?

The designer only allows valid configurations: minimum zoom levels keep maps cuttable, water is always closed geometry, and bridge tabs are added automatically. What the customer sees is exactly what the exporter produces — and you can preview every design from its code before you cut.

Who's behind this?

A working wooden-map studio. We built this engine for our own Shopify store, ran thousands of orders through it, and got asked often enough how we do it that we turned it into a product. You're buying the tool we use ourselves, every day.

What happens if I cancel?

Your subscription stops, the designer disappears from your store, and that's it. Every SVG you've already exported is yours forever — no license strings attached to your past work.
