What is Maperivo?
Maperivo is a laser map creator and layered SVG generator. It turns any city or address on Earth into a production-ready, layered cut file (CUT / ENGRAVE / WATER on named layers) for laser cutting and engraving.
What file do I get?
A layered SVG with named CUT, ENGRAVE and WATER layers (DXF on request). It opens in LightBurn, xTool Creative Space and Glowforge with no cleanup.
Can I make a map of any place?
Yes — any city, town, neighbourhood or street address, using OpenStreetMap data rendered with Mapbox.
Are the street widths accurate?
Yes. Maperivo works at real millimetre scale for your board size, so what you see is what the laser cuts. Roads too thin to cut become single-line scores you can adjust.
How does it handle dense cities?
Busy centres that collapse into fragile slivers in other tools stay coherent and cuttable, with adjustable thresholds for fine roads.
Can my customers design a map on my store?
Yes. Maperivo embeds a live designer on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and PrestaShop (Etsy via a hosted link). Customers personalise the map; you receive the laser-ready file with the order.
Do you take commission on sales?
No. Maperivo is a flat monthly price with 0% commission, unlike per-sale customizer apps.
What product styles are there?
3D layered, cut-out silhouette, lake depth (bathymetric), love story (multi-city), marathon/route, key holder and multi-panel split maps — all from one designer.
How long does it take?
About five minutes from choosing a location to a laser-ready file.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — 14 days and 50 maps with no card, including full layered SVG export and commercial use. After that Starter is $10/month with unlimited maps, or Pro $20/month with the store embed.
