3D layered wood map SVG
The 3D layered map stacks streets, land, water and frame into a physical, dimensional piece โ Maperivo prepares each layer as its own clean, named cut so the stack assembles perfectly.

What you get
How to make a 3D layered map
Pick your city, set the board size and choose the 3D layered style. Maperivo separates the map into stacked layers and shows them in an exploded 3D preview. Export the layered SVG, cut each layer, then glue the stack โ streets on land, land on water, all inside the frame. For a full walkthrough see how to make a layered wood map.
Other products from the same designer
Every style exports the same clean, named CUT/ENGRAVE/WATER layers.
Frequently asked questions
Everything makers and stores ask before their first laser-ready map.
How many layers does a 3D map have?
Typically base/water, land, streets and a frame layer โ each exported as its own named cut so they stack into depth. You can add pins and engraved labels on top.
Will dense streets survive at 3D scale?
Yes. Maperivo cuts at real millimetre widths and turns roads too thin to cut into single-line scores, so busy centres stay cuttable.
What file do I export?
A layered SVG with named CUT/ENGRAVE/WATER layers (DXF on request) that opens in LightBurn, xTool and Glowforge.
